Whew! We’ve had a crazy-busy year, getting ScriptNoted v2 done, tested, and out into the wild…
To that end, we are thrilled to announce that ScriptNoted v2 is now available to all active subscribers. This latest version of the project development app for Media & Entertainment industry professionals includes the following new features:
» Overhauled UX/UI: The ScriptNoted User Experience (UX) and User Interfaces (UI) have been completely re-designed, based on the feedback we received from our 2015 pilot testing. The new app — still mobile responsive across all devices — is now anchored by a context-specific timeline, providing a heads-up view of all activity associated with your company, a project, a file, or a contact. A dynamic menu bar has also been added, ensuring that you are never more than a click or two away from what you want to do.
» Projects, Projects, Projects: ScriptNoted is now wholly-centered around projects (vs. individual files), enabling you to more effectively manage all of your film, television, commercial, and digital media projects — and the people, files, activity, and metadata associated with them — in the cloud, from any Internet-connected device. No more wasted time, rooting in vain through email inbox, your laptop’s file folders, or even generic cloud file repositories.
» Improved Contact Management: In addition to contact information, all files, feedback, notes, and activity associated with a given person are now easily accessible via the contact browser, giving you an at-a-glance, actionable overview of all of your industry relationships.
» Multiple MIME Type Support: Want to share an FDX file (or a Word doc, an Excel file, a Powerpoint preso, or a photo) and keep track of it with ScriptNoted? ScriptNoted v2 now supports the most common file types used across the industry, including pdf, fdx, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, key, pages, txt, jpg, tiff, png, gif file types. File size maximum is 20MB.
» Enhanced Submissions Management: In addition to serving as the backbone of our file sharing features, ScriptNoted’s ScriptLink™ architecture now supports solicited or unsolicited file submissions. Every ScriptNoted user gets a personalized, password-protected ScriptLink, which may be shared with others to allow for simple and secure file upload to your company’s submission queue in the app.
ScriptNoted is committed to regularly enhancing our cloud-based, M&E project development app to better serve you and your Film & Television project teams.
